Pranav Reddy

Pranav Reddy is a partner at Conviction, a venture fund based in San Francisco, California, according to his personal site. Earlier he was an engineer at Neeva, working on indexing, retrieval and some language modeling, and before that a neuroscience researcher studying learning and epilepsy.

At Neeva, which was acquired by Snowflake, Reddy was a founding engineer and later an engineering manager, according to Delta. He invests in AI-native companies and serves on the board of HeyGen, an AI video generation company.

Backing Instinct Early

Early backing from Reddy and Greenoaks' Neil Mehta valued Instinct, the personal AI assistant startup founded by Noah Shinn, at $50 million, according to Tech Funding News. By early August 2026, Kleiner Perkins partner Mamoon Hamid led a $75 million Series A at a $500 million valuation.

A month after a round that valued Instinct at $2.5 billion, the company raised $1 billion from investors including Sequoia Capital, Benchmark Capital and Coatue at a $10 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch.
