Co-founder

Fillout

Seed Forms & survey builders
Why watch Whyte is expanding forms into the full intake stack (payments, scheduling, workflows) so teams stop duct-taping five tools to one form.

Dominic Whyte started Cheer, a Sequoia-backed company that Retool acquired in 2020, then worked in engineering and product at Retool, according to his Fillout author page. He went on to co-found Fillout, the form builder, with Antony Toron, a Princeton computer science graduate who had worked as a software engineer at Five Rings, according to Toron's site. Toron is now co-founder and CTO of Zite.

Growing Fillout From a Basic Form Builder to Zite

Fillout first launched as a basic form builder, Whyte wrote in an October 2024 post announcing Fillout 2.0 and the company's seed round. The round's backers include Elad Gil, Nat Friedman, Cristina Cordova and Lachy Groom.

The same post said Fillout had been profitable for the last year and had negative lifetime burn, meaning funds raised were less than cash on hand. In March 2026 Fillout's parent company was renamed Zite, with Fillout continuing as its own product under the new umbrella, according to the Fillout blog.
