Neel Sharma
Co-founder and CEO
Sentrial
Neel Sharma and co-founder Anay built agents at SenseHQ and Accenture, where they found that "debugging agents was often harder than actually building them," they wrote on Hacker News. Sharma is co-founder and CEO of Sentrial, a San Francisco, California, company in Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch that monitors AI agents in production.
Agentic Optimization at Sense
Sharma studied computer science at UC Berkeley and worked on agentic optimization at Sense, according to Sentrial's YC page. He saw that traditional evaluation frameworks break down once agents hit production. Anay, who also studied computer science at UC Berkeley, deployed DevOps agents at Accenture.
Monitoring Agents at Sentrial
Sentrial detects when agents loop, hallucinate, misuse tools or frustrate users, then diagnoses the root cause and recommends fixes. Developers wrap their client with the SDK in a couple of lines, the founders wrote on Hacker News.
By YC Demo Day, Sentrial was at $30k MRR, Sharma wrote on LinkedIn. "Six weeks ago, we had just launched and were at $0 in revenue," he wrote.
