Florian Douetteau

Florian Douetteau is co-founder and CEO of Dataiku, which makes a platform for data science and AI. He started it in Paris, France, in 2013, according to the École normale supérieure.

Discovering Data Through Search at Exalead

Douetteau studied mathematics, logic, and statistics at the École normale supérieure in Paris from 1999 to 2003. He started at the search company Exalead in 2000, working on a thesis about its programming language, and stayed until 2011 in research, development, and product leadership roles. He led a research team of 50 there until Dassault Systèmes bought the company in 2010 for $150 million, according to 7wData.

Running Game Analytics at IsCool

He then became CTO at IsCool, a social gaming company, where he managed game analytics and a large cloud setup. He also worked as a freelance lead data scientist at companies including Criteo before founding Dataiku.
