Wei-Wei Wu
Co-founder and CEO
Momentic
Wei-Wei Wu is co-founder and CEO of Momentic, which uses AI to automate end-to-end software testing. He co-founded it with Jeff An, now its CTO, and the company went through Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch, according to MorningQA.
Contributing to the Node.js Project
Wu and An both have backgrounds in developer tooling at companies such as Qualtrics and WeWork, TechCrunch reported in a story syndicated by Yahoo Finance. Wu is particularly proud of his contributions to the open-source Node.js project. Across those jobs, the constant problem as he saw it was verifying code. "Testing has been the biggest pain point for every team I've ever worked with," he said.
Describing Tests in Plain English at Momentic
"They can describe their critical user flows in plain English and our AI will automate it," Wu said of Momentic's customers. At the time of its $15 million raise in November 2025, the company had 2,600 users at customers including Notion, Xero, Webflow, and Retool. MorningQA reported that a $3.7 million seed round came before that Series A, which Standard Capital led.
