Co-founder and CEO · Port
IDP Platform eng
Einy is building Port so engineering orgs get a governed service catalog and self-service portal - the control plane AI coding agents need as much as humans do.
Zohar Einy is co-founder and CEO of Port, an internal developer platform company in Tel Aviv, Israel. He previously co-founded Aporia.
The America Portal Inside Unit 8200
Port grew out of a problem Einy lived through in the Israeli military's Unit 8200, according to Israeli Tech Hub. His future co-founder and CTO led a DevOps team of 30 to 40 engineers serving around 2,000 developers, and Einy was one of those developers. Getting anything meant filing a ticket and waiting.
The DevOps team built an internal system called America that let developers request a permission, click a button and get it automatically without waiting weeks. That experience became the foundation for Port: the idea that engineering organizations should be self-sufficient.
Personal Life
He grew up on a moshav with horses and chickens. He runs three to five kilometers on Rothschild Boulevard most mornings, and Israeli Tech Hub described him as recently married.
