Yasmin Razavi is a general partner on the growth team at Spark Capital. She grew up in Tehran, Iran, before leaving to study engineering at the University of Toronto, according to Spark Capital, and later earned an MBA at Harvard.

Product Manager for Snap's Monetization Stack

Before Spark she was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and an investor at Index Ventures in London, England. She then joined Snap Inc. as a product manager building the technology behind the app's monetization stack.

Backing Anthropic Early

At Spark she works with founders after they reach product-market fit. "I take joy in seeing people and ideas before others do," she says. Coming from a long line of engineers, she is drawn to technical founders, which led her to back Anthropic, MatX and Cambridge Aerospace early.
