Home / Founders / Mohak Sharma
Mohak Sharma is co-founder and CEO of HoneyHive, a platform for testing and monitoring AI agents. He met co-founder Dhruv Singh when they were roommates at Columbia University, where they often talked about starting a company together, he told AlleyWatch.
Data Platforms at Templafy
After graduation Sharma built data and AI platforms at Templafy. Singh worked at Microsoft, including on the OpenAI Innovation Team in the Office of the CTO.
Watching AI Apps Break After Deployment
Both saw teams build promising AI applications that broke in unexpected ways once deployed, with no proper tools to understand why. That gap led them to build HoneyHive.
Raising $7.4 Million Led by Insight Partners
HoneyHive raised $7.4 million in total: a $5.5 million seed led by Insight Partners and a $1.9 million pre-seed led by Zero Prime Ventures, Sharma told AlleyWatch. The platform is built on OpenTelemetry standards and can be deployed as SaaS, single-tenant SaaS or on-premises. His advice to founders in New York City, New York: "Focus relentlessly on customer value and build something people truly want."
