Jeremy Fichet is co-founder and CEO of Manatal, the recruitment software company he founded in January 2019 with Yassine Bel Mamoun in Bangkok, Thailand, according to PR Newswire.
Senior Roles at Groupon
Fichet, who is French, held senior positions at companies including Cdiscount and Groupon for more than 15 years. He was Group CEO of Orami in Indonesia and Thailand, regional CEO of LivingSocial Malaysia and Philippines, and co-founder of Cdiscount Thailand, according to Leaders in Logistics.
Bel Mamoun, who is Moroccan, had worked as a data scientist and as a quantitative research analyst at BNP Paribas.
Hiring With Spreadsheets and Email Chains
Scaling e-commerce businesses, Fichet found managing recruitment frustrating and time-consuming, according to Forbes. Small companies were trying to run hiring with outdated spreadsheets and sprawling email chains, and Manatal set out to fix that.
Raising a $5.1 Million Round in 2022
In 2022 Manatal raised $5.1 million, according to PR Newswire. "With Manatal, companies can now match the perfect fit for positions they are recruiting for in minutes," Fichet said.
