Many B2B companies take more than a day to reply to demo requests, and Dmitry Zakharov's company Naoma cuts that wait to about 10 seconds, according to Tech Funding News. Zakharov co-founded Naoma with Dima Ivanouski and is its CEO.
Automating Product Demos
"Naoma is a video AI sales agent that runs personalised live demos right inside a real product account," Zakharov told Tech Funding News. It also answers questions, qualifies leads during demos and guides prospects to purchase. "We started Naoma to solve that exact gap: give every prospect an instant, personalised demo experience without scaling headcount," he said.
Naoma raised $440,000 in pre-seed funding led by ULTRA.VC, with Sparkle Ventures and several angel investors joining.
Pitching More Than 70 Investors
Zakharov talked to over 70 investors during three months of fundraising, he told VC Happens. Naoma had two months of runway left before the round.
The company had pivoted first. "We couldn't raise with traction for our previous product; after the pivot, we closed the round with a prototype and no traction, only early market signals," Zakharov said. Naoma closed the round in December and launched the product in January.
