Which one fits

Julius AI is a self-serve tool for one person or a small team, while Omni is a company-wide BI platform.

Choose Omni if

  • You need company-wide BI with one set of metric definitions, which Omni keeps in a shared semantic layer.
  • Your analysts want SQL and your business users want point-and-click and spreadsheets, on the same governed data.
  • You want to put analytics inside your own product. Omni supports embedding with SSO, APIs and an MCP server.

Choose Julius AI if

  • You want to ask questions of a CSV or spreadsheet in plain language and get charts back.
  • You work alone and want a low price. Plus costs $16 per month billed annually.
  • You want to start free and upgrade later.

What buyers say

“Julius is better for quick charts off an uploaded spreadsheet. Omni is better when analysis has to sit on a governed warehouse model the whole company already trusts.”

“Julius for exploratory “what’s in this CSV.” Omni when stakeholders expect BI workbooks, not an AI chat over a file upload.”

North_Teacher_7522 · r/juliusai · · source

“Omni gave us one set of metric definitions for the company, with SQL for analysts and point-and-click for everyone else. Julius AI is quick for a one-off CSV, but it is a tool for one person.”
