Which one fits

HiddenLayer focuses on the models themselves, while Noma focuses on the agents and tools employees use.

Choose HiddenLayer if

  • You use third-party models and need them scanned for hidden code and weaknesses before they run.
  • You want to attack your own AI apps before someone else does. HiddenLayer sells AI attack simulation.
  • You want runtime protection for models in production.

Choose Noma Security if

  • You need an inventory of every AI agent and tool in use across SaaS, cloud and developer environments.
  • You want to stop agents that drift or get manipulated while they run.
  • You want a vendor large companies already use. Noma says more than 10% of the Fortune 100 are customers.

What buyers say

“HiddenLayer is better when the red team is attacking ML models and prompt-injection on inference. Noma is better when the incidents are agentic SaaS tools doing things nobody approved.”

“Noma’s write-ups are about tricking app-layer AI agents. HiddenLayer’s lane is the model security platform, pick based on whether your blast radius is the LLM API or the business agent.”

“HiddenLayer scans the third-party models we download before they run, and the attack simulation found weak spots in our own apps. Noma gave us the broader inventory of agents and tools across SaaS and cloud, so the choice came down to whether the risk sat in the models or the agents.”
