Which one fits

Guru answers everyday staff questions, while Hebbia analyzes large sets of documents for finance and research work.

Choose Hebbia if

  • You work in finance, diligence or research and need to ask the same questions across hundreds of private documents at once.
  • You want answers laid out as a grid you can check, with each answer tied to the document it came from.
  • You review data rooms and filings. Hebbia is built for that kind of reading, more than for a company help center.

Choose Guru if

  • Your support, sales or operations staff need answers inside the tools they already use, drawn from verified company knowledge.
  • You worry about stale answers. Guru's knowledge agents can now mark information as verified or unverified.
  • You want AI search across company knowledge, along with a knowledge base.

What buyers say

“Guru is better when the team owns verified cards with expiry. Hebbia is better when the knowledge already lives in long PDFs and decks you need to query, not rewrite as cards.”

“Guru won for our support agents living in cards and search. Hebbia would be the pick if the pain was enterprise document Q&A instead of internal process cards.”

hv23 · HN · · source

“Guru answers our sales and support questions inside the tools people already use, and the verified marker helps. Hebbia is built for reading data rooms and filings, so it is not a substitute for a company knowledge base.”

Methodology

We read the Hebbia and Guru pricing pages and product sites on October 16, 2026 and recorded every published price, limit and plan feature. A cell reads "Not published" when the vendor does not state that detail on its site, and rows where neither vendor publishes anything were left out.

Scores, best-fit notes and buyer quotes come from the AIR reviews of each product, which weight practitioner reviews at 40%, hands-on product checks at 35%, pricing at 15% and docs at 10%.
