List prices in US dollars per month before tax, as published on each vendor's site on October 16, 2026, billed monthly unless the cell says otherwise. "Quote" means the vendor sets the price through its sales team. A green check marks a row where the published data shows a clear edge.
Which one fits
Cast AI cuts what Kubernetes uses, while ProsperOps lowers the rate you pay for cloud capacity.
Choose ProsperOps if
- You want lower rates on cloud spend you already have, through savings plans and reserved commitments managed automatically.
- You want the fee tied to results. Discount management costs a share of the savings it produces.
- You buy across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and want one tool for commitments on all three.
Choose Cast AI if
- You run a lot of Kubernetes and are willing to let software resize workloads and swap nodes automatically.
- You run GPU workloads. Cast AI sells a separate GPU optimization product.
- You already use Karpenter. Cast AI offers cluster optimization built for it.
What buyers say
“ProsperOps is better for autonomous RI/Savings Plan coverage on the AWS bill. CAST AI is better when the problem is K8s rightsizing and spot fallback, not commitments.”

“Automate commitments with ProsperOps; automate node selection with CAST AI. They’re not the same lever, pick the one that matches the biggest line item.”

“ProsperOps manages our savings plans and the fee is a share of what it saves, which made it easy to approve. Cast AI helps more if Kubernetes capacity is your biggest cost, and that was not us.”

Representative buyer view
Verdict
ProsperOps (8.3 out of 10, Recommend) lowers the rate you pay on cloud spend you already have by managing savings plans and reserved commitments, and its discount fee is a share of the savings. Cast AI (7.1 out of 10, Conditional recommend) cuts how much Kubernetes capacity you use by resizing workloads and swapping nodes. The better pick depends on whether commitments or clusters are your biggest cost.
